Analysis Of (Western) Ethical Ideology Of Science And Technology's Impetus To Scientific Community

Scientific community is scientist's special group, which is the main body of scientific activity in contemporary age. Scientific community has ethical connotations, whose institutional objective treats the good as the essence. With spiritual disposition and code of conduct as its core, the activity in scientific community has great impact on the forming of scientific morality.Consequently, from the perspective of ethical ideology of science and technology, this paper analyzes ethical ideology of science and technology's impetus to scientific community. Experiencing the development of thousand-year-long, western ethical ideology of science and technology has formed a completed system with abundant connotations. The main substance includes the basic issue of ethical ideology of science and technology, the moral principle, the moral norm, the moral accomplishment and the moral realm. As a practical spirit, ethical ideology of science and technology plays a leading role in scientists' practice activities, and promotes the development of scientific community.Philosophically speaking, the influences of ethical ideology of science and technology on scientific community are as follows: decisive effect on the choosing of study objects of scientific community; controlling effect on the application of achievements of scientific community; and coordinate effect on the evaluation of scientific community.Ethical ideology of science and technology, in practice activities, gives impetus to the development of scientific community in micro- and macro- aspects. Firstly, it can cultivate the quality of science subjects, which provides guarantee in talent-supply for the development of scientific community. Secondly, it can maintain the internal order of scientific community, which offers good internal conditions for the development of scientific community. Thirdly, it can harmonize the social relations of scientific community, which builds harmonious external environment for the development of scientific community. Last, it can form a highly-opened moral atmosphere, which wins strong supports for scientific community from the society.
