The quality education, as an educational ideal, continuously permeates into the basic education. The teaching aims and systems of all the subjects are experiencing a transitional period and developing in depth. To train talents with perfect personality has become the ultimate target of education; to pay attention to the training and development of the students' personality has come to an agreement for the educational circles. However as art teaching, the effective realization of the aims of art education can't depend on the superficial discussion of the all-round education. Thus in order to promote the development of art teaching, the first important is to consider the uniqueness of the subject.Training of aesthetic judgments is an important target of art teaching and personalized aesthetic is the highest level of aesthetic. But because of the influence of exam-oriented education, to develop aesthetic personality often suffers negligence in the course of the training of the students' aesthetic judgments, so as to deviate the essence of aesthetic activity. To make art teaching gain substantial development under the direction of the ideal of all-round education, one key point is to pay attention to the training of student's aesthetic personality.The thesis deals with the question from the three aspects. 1. The theory construction. Basing on differentiating the pertinent concepts, to define the content of the development of aesthetic personality from two aspects. One is to point out the characteristics that the different stages of individual aesthetic personality present in its development; the other is to analyze the factors that influence the personal aesthetic psychology, and further point out art teaching should be carried out according to different situations of different stages. 2. Starting with the quality education and basing on reality, pertinent comments on and analysis of the objective phenomena of the negligence and lack of the training of aesthetic personalities in nowadays art teaching are carried out, and the urgency to strengthen the training of aesthetic personality in art teaching is point out. 3. Combining art teaching and modern educational thoughts and techniques, and basing on my own practical experience, the thesis deeply probes into the approaches and methods to develop the students' aesthetic personalities in art teaching in the hope of attracting a jade by throwing a brick in the reform of art education through such studies.
