Yangming Personality Aesthetic Education And Its Revelation Of Personality Construction Of Contemporary Chinese Popular Culture

Personality is the core of traditional Chinese culture, among which yangmingxinxue,one of the schools of philosophy in Ming dynasty ,forms an important part ,where personality of course is the core too.This thesis mainly discusses the thought of aesthetic education of personality in yangmingxinxue.It holds that the thought came from the idea of personality in MengZi's xinxingzhixue.another school of philosophy in the warring states period; criticized and absorbed the thought of ZhuXi,Buddhism and Taoism, also was affected by the current of xinxue since mid-Ming dynasty.The study goes on two aspects.One is the context of aesthetic education which includes: l.the pursuit of ideal personality 2.the emphasis of value subject 3.the experience of perceptive life 4.the cultivation of the spirit of critisism,creation and the consciousness of care;the other is the practice of aesthetic education which includes: l.determination,confidence alert and self-control 2.respect,cultivation,and service practice 3.eradication of the opinions and confusion 4.instruction to the students' level and advancement of step by step.Wangyangming's thought of aesthetic education of personality is suggestive for the cultivation and health of modern personality as the masses culture is popular today.
