Song Qi Qiu(887-959),whose name of a shop was first Chao Hui, later Zi Song, was born in Jiangxi. He was a famous politicist in the Nan Tang's political cirles of Wu Dai.When he was in his childhood, his father died and he was very poor and lonely. However, he liked to study, and had high aspirations. After Sun Chuan, who was Jie Du Shi of Tang in Hong zhou, one of the higher rank, died, QiQiu went to Yang Wu for shelter and became a guest of Xu ZiGao. There he saw through the contradictory between Zi Gao and his father-in-the-law Xu Weng, so he intentionally helped. Xu Zi Gao to seize the great right of Xu. After Zhu Jin's incidence, ZiGao took the place of Xu ZiXun. Later on, Qi Qiu was been specially fond and trust unduly of by Xu Zi Gao. So he did what he could do, often joined to plot a frame-up,created all kinds of conditions for the foundation of the Nan Tang. He extensively solicited persons of ability himself; reformed economy (Prevailed upon agriculture; decreased or exempted from taxation; recovered production);established Qi instead of Yang Wu.Because of Qi Qiu's greatest contributions to the establishment of the Nan Tang, he won extol in those years and later.Song QiQiu was alway superior in helping Xu Zi Gao for his political fight, and Qi Qiu's worth was recognized by Xu Zi Gao, which led to the slanders and envies of the gentries. In order to preserve his position, he began to enlist guests and interfered the emperor's setting up his adopted son. In order to fight for credit, he prevented Zi Gao the suggestion of carrying on the emperor's position from then on, Zi Gao began to deprive of his power, not to let him have a hand in political comment. In order to be put in an important position by Zi Gao, Qi Qiu took many remedial measurements, but his status didn't change fundamentally. After Li Bian died , Li Jin succeeded in Li Bian's post. In fact, Qi Qiu was not put in an important position at all in Li Jing's periods. Li Jing succeeded his post on March Sheng yuan tenth year(943), died on June Jian Long second year, and Song QiQiu died on January Xian De(959)sixth. From above, we can see that Song QiQiu had only less than sixteen years in Li Jing' s periods, but was drived out three times for eleven years. In this periods, the Nan Tang launched a war to Ming a war to Chu and a war to Houshou and the Nan Tang was all beat, the cause of those beats mainly lied in the Song party's inability, but Qi Qiu suffered from unrighted wrong. In the periods of Qi Qiu's assistent to Jing Tong(Li Jing),Qi Qiu began torecruit guests, which later became cabals, that is, the Song Party. The fight between Song and Sun (the other party) began in Li Bian's later periods, and intensified more in Li ling's periods, what must be noticed was that for a long term, Sun wanted to wipe out Song, but couldn't do it. ThoughSong Qi Qiu didn't have power in Li Jing's periods, It was always Song that moved about in the Nan Tang's political circles. 1 think, It was the tactics not to give power to Sun while put Song in the position, by which Li Bian and Li Jing utilized talents, led to such a situation. It in turn resulted in the lopsideddevelopment of Song. That shouldn't have nothing to do with Qi Qiu However, People out and in the Court couldn't differentiate it and went for a shelter one after another, which objectively made Song Qi Qiu enjoy great prestige, what's more, Some important man of Song couldn't distinguish the" abnormal"phenomenon, but seized the opportune moment not to stop lavishing praise on Qi Qiu, and made the best use of his fame and prestige as his tool of scrambling for power and profit, when Song developed into threating Li Jing 's imperial power, Li Jin had to fight for his power against Song in order to solidify his imperial power, which sent Song Qi Qiu and Song to death. The paper is based on historical facts, separates and dissects the courses of Song QiQiu's development and evolution . It not only exposes all his appearance and corrects the error of old realization...
