Comparatively Researching Mao Zedong's Cultural Thought And Sun Zhongshan's

Sun zhongshan and Mao Zedong were leaders in Chinese current and modern history. Sun Zhongshan was a great patriot and a pioneer of the Chinese democratic revolution. Mao Zedong was not only a great man of politics but also a great master of culture. The activities of Sun Zhongshan was a sign that the Chinese democratic revolution entered a standard stage from a preparatory stage. Mao Zedong carried out and developed Sun Zhongshan's "unfinished cause". He worked out programmes and plans of new democratic revolution in China. He finished the basic tasks of the democratic revolution. He built the People's Republic of China and carried out the socialist revolution and construction. Sun Zhongshan and Mao Zedong were not professional learners of culture researching, but they had expounded a lot of culture issues from actual needs of Chinese revolution and construction.The theory of Mao Zedong thought not only came from Marxism-Leninism and Chinese traditional civilization, but also should include Sun Zhongshan thought. This thesis completely discusses the sameness and the differences between Sun Zhongsham Mao Zedong's culture thought from Chinese traditional civilization thought western civilization thought and the fusion of Chinese and western civilization. It explains that they had same methods of inheritance and reference. It also analyses the differences in understanding Chinese traditional civilization, western civilization and the fusion of them between Mao Zedong and Sun Zhongshan. Culture can be divided into the culture in its broad sense and the one in its narrow sense. The culture in its broad sense is the total of all material civilization and spiritual civilization of mankind.
