Internet has been permeating every aspects of social life. And the network has changed the mode of production, living, communication, thinking and values of human being in an all round way. Since the landing of network, college students have stepped to the first line voluntarily and become the main part of the internet users. With the establishment of campus networks in universities and their connections to the internet, the amount of college students surfers have been increasing rapidly. Internet provides them a new method of studying and living, which also offers a new stage and chance for their progression. Furthermore, internet broadens college students outlook, break their dull campus life and brings them to a colorful virtual world, where screens, mice, keyboards, etc. enable them to enjoy the unprecedented convenience and happiness brought by the modern technology. However the negative impacts from the cyberworld have also turned up, the collision in people's heart caused by which is obvious. Hackers, virus, sex, love on internet and its being anonymous, etc. have great influence on students' cognition, emotion, personality and their social psychology. These cannot be ignored.In the thesis, college students are set as the research subject, and the concepts of "cyber mental health," and "cyber psychological disorder" are first put forward. Form the angle of "cyber mental health", the author analyzes the impacts of the virtual world on college students' cognition, emotion, personality, and personal relation, etc.; delves further into the significance of college students' being psychologically fit when surfing; and make certain researches on the relation between the actual psychological disorder and the cyber psychological disorder as well as their interaction system. In the thesis the author also proposes the main types of this special psychological disorder, their manifestation and the criteria to judge it. He tentatively puts forward "the criteria of cyber mental health s"; analyzes the cause of the cyber psychological disorder; studies how to prevent and overcome it; and in the end suggests a technical method about how to keep fit psychologically when surfing for college students.
