Have stepped out of psychological's obstacle when the intellectual of May Fourth Movement faced the mundane society.Charter three , the edge of narrative: The "grey "coat of Magazine and the "desolate" aesthetics of Eileen Chang . Eileen Chang descripted the female's existent states and the troubled times as "desolate" . Magazine in dual identity is pushed to a edge . The female narrative of Eileen Chang was reached to the edge by " mighty narrative" which the male keen on. The two sides had relation of intergrowth. Due to the relation, Magazine not only paid close attention to the authoress ' rise but also facilitate the forming of situation of Suqing and Eileen Chang. Eileen Chang felt more "desolate" because of making a living hard in troubled times.
