Traumatic experience is a very important kind of experience that authors always have. Zhang ailing's early traumatic experience had a very significant influence on her novel creation and the formation of her artistic features. This article attempts to find the relations between the traumatic experience of zhang's earlier life and the art world from the creation subject mentality perspective.Zhang ailing's earlier growth experience can be described as traumatic. The decline of the family, the lack of love from parents and instability caused by family life led to her introverted character. And that resulted in her grave insecurity. Such insecurity was greatly strengthened in last Hong Kong battle and let her see exactly dark side of human nature such as selfishness and fragile and changeable life. This memory of the tragic experience for life had a great impact on her novels.Early traumatic experience first contributed to zhang ai-ling's novels distinctive themes. With her unique aesthetic perspective, the novel was set in the daily life full of trivals and chaos that she was indulged in and suffered great pain from. It showed us piles of pictures of the life in troubled times. There are pictures of survival, the family life, human selfishness and loneliness, doubtful marriage and love and the unpredictable fate of people etc..Comprehension of humanity and life made Chang's novel unique for the tragic experience. The lack of love in earlier life and the indifference and endless intrigue between family members had brought great pain to her, which ended up in negative images of her most characters. Eileen Chang's works always show the lonely, weak characters and morass-like, meaningless life. Even in art, she also discarded the traditional'binarism'mode and adopted'uneven comparison'method,'uneven comparison'also specifically presented the'desolate'features in her novels.
