Problem of globalization is one of typical subjects which the circle of social sciences mainly concern and study. Globalization has been the most outstanding characteristics of the present world and the main melody of evolution of the futuristic world. Therefore, it has been the basis of acknowledging and analyzing all significant problems. Globalization involves many aspects and spheres which not only profoundly changes mankind's process of economic development, but also exerts a tremendous influence on cultural life of mankind. How to treat relations between national culture and international one-native culture and global one and how to guide culture to healthy development in the face of the tide of globalization. All this confronts us and the thesis makes a profound exploration and research on it.The thesis gives a slight exposition of such problems as connotation, core, inheritance and fusion of culture before discussing the subject so as to clean up ambiguity and avoid affecting the deepening of dissertation because of confusion of concepts. However, intension and extension of "culture must be specially defined and it's of necessity to make a clear acknowledgement and correct judgment of globalization in order to properly grasp the futuristic trend of Chinese culture. Only this can Chinese culture be located and its direction and path ahead be confirmed. In fact, the present trend of globalization shows on the aspect of economy, that is economic globalization as well as on the aspect of culture, that is cultural globalization. Economic globalization is closely linked with cultural globalization in which the latter accompanies with the former. The cultural globalization, accompanying with economic globalization,inevitably arouses collision and conflict of value between Chinese and Western culture. In spite of this, what worries us most and arouses vigilance is just the nationalism trend of thought which plays inverse echoing roles in the course of globalization and the viewpoint of completely negating traditional culture. Therefore, we must readjust and relieve then effectively, in the hope that we can eliminate interferences as soon as possible so as to try to gain the initiative, benefit to and advance each other and fasten realization of our own ideal of cultural value in the cultural fusion of globalization. Thus, we ought to revise our thinking of the development of our national cultural and resort to appropriate countermeasures: strengthen national consciousness and realize cultural consciousness; overcome moody bias and perfect cultural intention; readjust and transform culture; take vigorous action to expand conformity of culture; lay emphasis on and facilitate cultural creation.Only if we make a deep understanding of the dialectical relations between cultural globalization and national culture and construct mechanism for readjusting conflict of value can we absorb the scientific and rational elements of global multiculture's value broad-mindedly to develop national culture, especially build new socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.
