Several documents written on bamboo slips and silk books had been discovered in China since last century. It supplied a lot of ponder-able data to the study of the history of Chinese linguistics. Yili including nine books, had been excavated form ancient tombs of Han Dynasty in Wu Wei in 1959.There were much characters that had the different formation but the same meaning consulting Yili having been handed down form ancient times. The characters were official script, showing the habits of using characters and words in Han Dynasty. We can know the development of the history of Chinese characters and the use of Chinese words form studying these characters.In the article, we used the comparative method, the inductive method and the deductive method and consulted the ancient dictionary to make philological studies of the characters. On the base of that, we sturdy the following problems:On using character: studying enharmonic characters, new word-formation, different forms of a character, different structure of a character and error characters.On using word: studying the difference between Yili written on bamboo slips and Yilihaving been handed down form ancient time.
