The Research Of Characters Used In ZuoZhuan

The ontology research of the Chinese characters should be divided into three systems, namely shape,form and usage. The research of the Chinese characters is the study of usage, which mainly involves the interchangeable characters, the ancient-modern characters and the variant forms of characters.This paper selects ZuoZhuan as the source of datas, by sorting out and analyzing, geting 362 groups interchangeable characters, 157 groups ancient-modern characters,and 38 groups variant forms of characters, the characteristics of them as follows:First, the whole characteristics of ZuoZhuan interchangeable charactersIn 362 groups of interchangeable characters, by analyzing of structures of the characters: there are 221 groups have structural relations,141 groups have no structural relations; by analyzing of meanings of the characters: 109 groups are homologous TongYongZi,and 253 groups are homophones jiajie characters; by analyzing of sounds of the characters: 178 groups have the same sounds, 184 groups have the similar sounds.Second, the whole characteristics of ZuoZhuan ancient-modern charactersIn 157 groups of ancient-modern characters, by analyzing of structures of the characters : there are 138 groups have structural relations, 19 groups have no structural relations; by analyzing of meanings of the characters: 67 groups are the homologous words, by analyzing of sounds of the characters: 108 groups have the same sounds,47 groups have the similar sounds , among these words which escape"the same sound, the similar sound"with the principle of the regularity of the ancient-modern characters are 2 groups.Third, the whole characteristics of ZuoZhuan variant forms of charactersBased on analysis of 38 groups variant forms in ZuoZhuan, article reach a conclusion that the methods of creation of characters is the main reason to cause variant words, accounting for approximately 68%. Furthermore, variant words have varied ties in forms and structures.
