The thesis is made up of four sections, it illuminated Dufrenne's theory of the truth in the arts.In the first section, the author introduced the development of the theory of the truth in the arts in the west. It includes: the truth in the imitative arts; the truth reflected as in a mirror; the truth of the repetition; the truth of the romanticism; the truth of the expressionism of the modernism.In the second section, the author explained Dufrenn's demarcation of the aesthetical object. It includes: starting from works of art, Dufrenne demarcates the aesthetical object; the inner structure of the aesthetical object;the aesthetical object's special existence--the sub-subject-in-itself andfor-itself; the world and depth of the aesthetical object.In the third section, the author illustrated Dufrenne's theory of the truth in the arts, according to the ordenworks, creator, appreciator, reality. As a result, Dufrenn emphasized that the real aim of the arts is not repetition but expression.In the last,the author valued Dufrenne's theory of the truth in the arts, and discussed the theoretical significance of the idea and what inspiration we can draw from it. |
