Minority undergraduates are a special group in higher learnings due to the difference of their nationality character, but study concerned is not made widely and management measures related to minority undergraduates in higher learnings have not been set up and perfected systematically.Reference to research documents and materials concerned, this thesis mainly discusses and analyses the study on religion idea, acculturation, college adaptation, ethnical identity and mental health about Hui Nationality, and based on interview method and written investigations about the above-said as research means, this study explored 319 Hui Nationality undergraduates in different departments and grades of Northwest Normal University to make a study of their religion idea, acculturation, college adaptation, ethnical and mental health.Through the data statistic counted, it shows the followings:1.Their ethnical identity is affected separately with religion idea, acculturation, college adaptation, ethnical identity, and mental health.2.They have different identity. Their identity assimilation trend might be shown from active identity and passive identity in the two dimensions.3. Their mental health is influenced with their ethnical identity, especially in mental symptom. The undergraduates who are in active group is much different and better than those in passive group in mental health.Combining with the above-said discussion and conclusion and with education aim and idea to minority undergraduates in higher learnings, this thesis offers us relevant countermeasures and suggestion to how to train and foster Hui Nationality undergraduates with comprehensive quality.
