| This paper's major question is inspecting the expressionism painting's aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts. The method adopted in this paper is mostly using the special view, namely the west modern expressionism painting, which has a great connection with Lu Xun's spirit.The paper affords three viewpoints in all. They are the expressionism print( or woodcut)'s aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts, the expressionism oil painting's aesthetic perception in Lu Xun' s texts, and the expressionism cartoon's aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts.In the first small respective viewpoint, the major method is quoting the painting (or woodcut)'s form languages, namely thread, brushwork and white-black, etc. During the testifying, I have quoted a few masterpieces of noted expressionism artists, such as kollwitz, Gauguin and Munch etc, in order to embody the print (or woodcut) aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts by this comparison. In this section, I use the theory of "art's will" that Riegl had afforded to prove Lu Xun's white-black idea, namely the extreme comparison of Lu Xun's spirit trait. The last part of this section I want to testify intensively is the "human skeleton" visual images, which exist both Lu Xun's texts and those noted artists' paintings and belong to the kind of "wasteland" visual images. Lu Xun also create the "soldier" visual images, which transcend the "wasteland" (or "human skeleton") images. Those soldiers create the light of wish, the light of "opposing despair", which stands for the highest realm of Lu Xun's spirit.In the second small respective viewpoint, the major method is also quoting the painting (or oil painting)'s form languages, namely thread, brushwork and color, etc. During the testifying, I have also quoted a few masterpieces of noted expressionism artists, such as Van Gogh, Gauguin and Munch etc, in order to find out the expressionism oil painting's aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts by this comparison. The oil painting threads in Lu Xun's texts are filled with strength. Those threads along with strong brushwork and rich colors are composed of the "whirlpool" visual image. Those colors of Lu Xun's texts have the strongly comparative character between the cold and the warm colors. This character has really great connection with Lu Xun's spiritual philosophy, namely "opposing despair". The last part of this section 1 want to testify intensively is the two different visual images-"life" and "death" images. Lu Xun has also created the "pedestrian" images, which are very similar to those of Rodin's. Those are the elevation of those "life" images and the transcency of those "death" images.In the third small respective viewpoint, the major method is adopting the Feng Zikai's cartoon notion and the classing methods, namely the method of "painting realistically-bringing out the theme", the method of "exaggeration-false appearance" and the method of "analogy-symbol", to adapt Lu Xun's texts. I have also quoted a few cartoon masterpieces of those noted artists, such as Goga, Victorin, Bradley and Grosz, in order to find out the expressionism cartoon aesthetic perception in Lu Xun's texts.The character of Lu Xun's texts cartoon have both the realistic character and the expressionism character, but the latter stands for Lu Xun's creative spirit more than the former. The importance of this section lies in Lu Xun's essays, which are different from the other two sections whose importance are Lu Xun' s novels and prose poems. The style of Lu Xun's texts cartoon is very sharp and drastic, which leads to a summit in Lu Xun's essays.It is necessary that the poem explanation of Lu Xun's texts should be more enhanced than ever. We should enlarge the pure "research- of visual aesthetic trait in Lu Xun's texts" into the broad view of the whole "modern literature and modern art". |
