On The Figure Hu Shi And His Classical Novels

Hu Shi is an author during Ming dynasty ,whose writings are vigorous and plentiful .but previous scholars rarely research it. This paper intend to make the fundamental dissertation on the figure Hu Shi and his classical novels .The paper can be seperated into two parts.One is to revise his hometown, household, life and writings. Through verifying the resources I can conclude that his hometown is Ning Xia, but not Xian Ning. And his ancester live in Li Yang, Jiang Su and is relegated to Ning Xia due to Ming chemical affair. His father ,Hu Ru Li rank to military Prime Minister and write Hong Zhi Ning Xia New Annals. In a word, his household contribute greatly to Ning Xia development .His life can be individed into four phrases, including his official experience. In addition to, I attempt to criticize the edition spreading of his writings, a collection of poems and works and two classical novels, Villa Thlking and Real Pearl Ship. The other is to analyze the content ,artistic assesment and value judging of his writings . The content of his writings is diverse and mingle, and mainly contain three aspects, textual researching ,anecdote and taking down ghost. The textual researching occupy most lists and anectdote is high value .Art achievement of his writings is the following, extensive content .practicable record, explicit language and single model. In the last, Hu Shi writings hold certain status wish manifold works and high worth both in the Ning Xia lierature history and Ming anecdote novel history.
