This thesis aims for disclosing the complex relation between the female revolutionary and the revolutionary ideology by investigating historical text and literature text, and analyzing the extent of female liberation in the Chinese Revolutionary.The thesis consists of three parts. The first part discusses the establishment of modern revolutionary discourse and the reasons that Chinese accepted the revolutionary. The Chinese Revolution under the national crisis catered for the imminent mentality to save the nation and the Utopian mentality. The second part of the thesis analyzing the conception of revolutionary literature and regards that the revolutionary literature was affected by the late Qing's political fiction and the Chinese swordsman fiction. The female revolutionaries in the literature were connected with the variation of China Image under the westernpressure. Setting "revolution plus love" as a example, the thesis discusses thenarrative logic of the revolutionary literature. In the third part of this thesis, different female revolutionaries are analyzed. The thesis discusses their stories and the effect of revolution. The last part concludes that the female liberation is limited while the revolutionary liberated the female, and the sexual revolution need go on.
