GuoMinJun And Shanhou Conference

In order to legalize his new Government, DUAN Qi-rui convened "ShanHou Conference" in Peking in the spring of 1925. The Meeting which bragged to deal with current affairs and seek a peaceful and united way for the nation in essence became a place where every Faction pursued his benefits. Though GuoMinJun Family with the head of FENG Yu-xiang was constrained by FENG-Faction and other Forces, they cooperated with DUAN-Govemment. For the purpose of gaining more advantages, GuoMinJun sent their representatives for "Shanhou Conference". GuoMinJun's participation was one of the key factors of holding the Meeting. During the Conference ,GuoMinJun's attitude was based on his benefits. In spite of existing conflicts with DUAN-Government to a certain extent, they compromised for the common interests finally. GuoMinJun kept harmony with DUAN-Government in the important cases and this provided great convenience for the Meeting continuing on. Because of Hu-Han War breaking out, the Meeting was almost unable to find a foothold and even DUAN-Government's basis was shaken. All these were the important manifestations of warlord politics of FENG Yu-xiang and GuoMinJun.
