It is after several changes of philosophical start point that Marx found his scientific philosophical start point. 'Ideal' was Marx's first philosophical start point where he explained the motion of the reality or 'the actual existence' from 'the proper existence'. In 1837, Marx's philosophical start point was shifted from 'ideal' to 'idea', since he had accepted Hegel's philosophy. In1843, however, Marx gave up the start point of 'idea'. Between 1843 and1844, Marx's philosophical view of the world was contradictory. During such period, on one hand, because of the influence of the start point of Feuerbach's humanistic materialistic philosophy, Marx explained human beings and the concept of human beings from 'nature' and explained alienation and private ownership of property and communism; on the other hand, he explained human beings and the concept of human beings and the history of human beings from 'practice', which is the bud of the start point of his new materialistic philosophy. It is the contradiction that not only caused Marx's view of the world during such period to be characterized by the coexistence of kinds of factions and by the contradiction in them, but also prepared the ground for establishing the start point of his new philosophy. In 1845, the contradiction in Marx's philosophical start point was got rid of. From then on, Marx finally set up his new scientific philosophical start point that is mankind's material activities, is 'practice'.
