Jianyuju Studies On Shishuoxinyu (Summary)

Shishuoxinyu, the outstanding note-story of Weijinnanbei Dynasty, is adopted as the language material to study Jianyuju in this paper. Such methods are adopted to describe the Jianyuju as synchronic study diachronic study qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis .Some debatable problems in Jianyuju study have achieved fairly rational explanations .So this paper is valuable for the study on history of Chinese language .The author literary style and colloquial of the language of Shishuoxinyu are introduced in Chapter One to discuss its on-the-spot-reporting and spoken language features.The research of Jianyuju in modern Chinese languge is commented in Chapter Two .Depending on this knowledge and the language material in Shishuoxinyu, we maintain that both Jianyu and senantic's carrying-on in the context are the important precondition for justing whether a sentence is a Jianyuju , and we put forward a new perspective of the definition justifying and classifying of Jianyuju . In this chapter, we also discuss the language value. methods for studying and taking or rejecting principle with language in selecting Shishuoxinyu as the material for Jianyuju studying.In Chapter Three, we detailedly analyse the sytactic semantic and pragmatic structure of Jianyuju in Shishuoxinyu the omitting of Jianyu in some sentencesthe using of pronouns as jianyu cleft-Jianyuju predicate complication and the structure in a" N1+ V1+ N2+ V2"in which V1 describes the meaning of accompanying to acquire a grasping of Jianyuju in Shishuoxinyu on the whole in that epoch .Two existing problems in the study of Jianyuju are explained in Chapter Four, namely: 1.the special sytactic component Jianyu which act as both the subject of the former verb and the object of the latter verb in a sentence is in exsitence in Chinese languge , and Jianyuju is different from other sentence pattern ; 2. iconicity in Jianyuju is tentatively discussed .In chapter five we compare the Jianyuju in Shishuoxinyu with those in Chunqiu-zhuoshizhuan and Jindai-hanyu-yufa-ziliao-huibian-Tang-Wudai-juan and come to these conclusions : l.the latter verb of the kind of Jianyuju which contain the meaning of zhishi(causing) is the causative objective of the former verb not its causative result; 2.it reflectes the twi-sentence-componentisation of Jianyu that the latter sub-clause in a cleft-Jianyuju must have the former verb in early times and could use no former verb in the latter sub-clause afterwards;3."qian (dispatch)""jiao(teach)""dai(wait)" having Jianyuju with behaviour meaning develop from the meaning of ordering to that of rendering which prove the development of Jianyuju with the meaning of rendering...
