Synonymous Phenomenon Study On The Full Verb In ShiShuoXinYu

In the paper, we mainly study on the synonymous full verb in ShiShuoXinYu. We discuss the origin, characteristics, and differences of the synonymous groups by the means of induction, statistics, componential analysis, substitution, comparison and so on. The paper is valuable to study on Chinese lexis in WeiJin era and the whole Chinese lexis system. The paper consists of six parts. The first part is about some debates on the study of the synonym. Because the scholars had different opinions on the definition of the synonym, we should have our own opinion. In this part, we introduce how to define of the synonym, the foundation of defining synonym and the research methods of synonym. The second part is a list of synonymous groups. In this part, we want to give the readers a clear impression by enumerating the synonymous full verb in ShiShuoXinYu. The grouping of the synonym costs our much more energy. We adopted strict means to establish synonym groups. First, we enumerate all the full verb in ShiShuoXinYu. Second, we group and analyze the full verbs that have the close relationship. Last, we find out and group the full verbs that have true synonymous relationships. We find out three hundred and sixty four synonym groups. This part is very important to the following study. The third part is an analysis on the forming method of the synonym. We know that the verb has synonymous relationship by the meaning extension, the coexistence of the new and the old meaning; the assimilation of the dialect words by standard language and the meaning permeation. The fourth part is an analysis on the differences of synonymous full verb. We analyze the differences of synonym from the view of semantics, grammar, pragmatics competence and format. The fifth part is about the characteristics of the synonymous full verb. Through the former research, we come to know some characteristics of the synonym in this book. The sixth part is about the relationship of the synonym and the lexis system. In this part, we introduce the relationship between the synonym and complex of Chinese words, the relation between the synonym and the comminuting of semantic.
