A Study Of Wu Zhen's Poetry And Chinese Ci

WuZhen, the famous poet in mid-term of Qing dynasty, was also the leading figure of poem world in GuanZhong at that time. He and Liu Shaoban, HuYi, YangLuan were called "Guanzhong Sijie", and praised highly by people. WuZhen's poem and Chinese Ci were evaluated highly at that time and later, and commended by YuanMei, WangShengming, NiuYunzhen, YangFangcan, KuangZhouyi and XuShichang. But research of WuZhen has not been paid enough attention because of different reasons. At the foundation of preceding research, taking "SongHuaAn corpora" as foundation of text, using all kinds of local literatures, corpus and general corpus concerned, this thesis studies WuZhen's life and production of poem and Chinese Ci draws an outline of grand occasion of producing and developing history of "SanQin ShiPai" From the angle of paying close attention to local literature and studying native poet.First part discusses WuZhen's life, teachers and circle of friends. Firstly, from the angle of "comprehending somebody and his time", inquires into WuZhen's origin of poem and spirit by studying WuZhen's life; secondly, studies ShengZhongkui, NiuYunzhen and others' important effect on the molding of character and WuZhen's poem producing from the angle of teachers; thirdly, inquires into effect of circles of friends on official history and literature thought of WuZhen.Second part expounds relation between WuZhen and "SanQin Shipai". At first, inquires the origin of "SanQin ShiPai" and form of writers, then study poem origin, achievement, and main characteristic of "SanQin ShiPai". Third part expounds WuZhen's poetic thoughts, mainly analyzes the differences and similarities between WuZhen's poetic proposition and YuanMei's poetic theory "XingLing" and the poetic theory about "GeDiao" advocated by ShenDeqian, and appraises WuZhen's literary view of that "limit advancing invent poem" and the characteristic in that time.Fourth part analyzes concretely the thought, content, and artistic achievement of WuZhen's SongHuaAn poem. SongHua poem's range of subjects is rather wide, including chanting history, intoning matter, love, farewell, realizing Buddhist, inscribing paint, and so on. The theme of SongHuaAn tends to taking care of common people, loving maintains and rivers of homeland, eulogizing friendship and emotion between relatives, praising outstanding people, showing sympathy for unlucky people, being moved to tears by historical rise and decline and singing the praises of true love, and so on. The artistic characteristics of SongHuaAn poem is that it originates from FengSao, is in and out Tang and Song; strengthens artistic expressing wit'i knowledge, has a rich meaning; and that it has new "YiXiang" and all kinds of literary forms; its style is varied and characterize itself mainly with solemn pure and beauty. Fifth part discusses range of subjects and artistic characteristic of SongHuaAn Chinese Ci. The range of subjects of of SongHuaAn Chinese Ci is rather wide, including visiting landscape, missing hometown, presenting and answering between friends, intoning matters and inscribing paints, parting with attention, and so on. The artistic characteristic of SongHuaAn Chinese Ci is that it doesn't care about Tang and Song; its style is varied, concurrently has bold and unconstrained beauty; it is original in conception and often has spiritual sustenance; and it has rich languages and beautiful artistic conception.
