Splendour And Spearhead In A Morass Of An Awful State

From A.D.860 to 907, Lee-Tung Dynasty which is ever most splendid in Chinese civilization history came to the last 47 years until its downfall. Literature in the period seemed to be dusky and dim. The viewpoint of my thesis replaces the last 47 years of Lee-Tung Dynasty with "Tuitang"(颓唐), It researches on typical idealism spirit including senses of justice, reputation, universal responsibility, hermit and elegance & leisure. It also depends upon materials of ancient books, studies on poetry, ci, prose, literary tales(chuan-qi) and poetry talks in the period, tries to re-build original appearance of the scholars and poets in ending Tung-Dynasty in idealism spirit which never die off, changes the literate keynotes of sad literature atmosphere of a conquered nation that compose on ending Tung-Dynasty, The thesis wants to dig out idealism spirit in literature ,which is one of the most important cores that fill literature with aesthetic and education function, and to find out the track connecting with Chinese culture in one continuous line.
