Marcuse's new perception ideology of art was set up on the basis of the criticism to the western society. He believed that the sense of criticism had faded away in the developed industrial society, consequently, individuals had lost the reasonable ability of criticism to the reality. Through reforming Freud's theory, Marcuse put forward his own theory of reforminghuman's offensive nature--the nature of sabotage in the depth of humanitystructure, and building a humanity foundation. And only by the perception of art can it reach the level. Therefore, he thought that the aesthetic function was dialectically connected with it's social political function, His ideology not only extend the tendency of modern aesthetic but also has its special value.
