This paper studies Fredric Jameson's poetics of culture and hermeneutic as a poetic theory of the literary culture and text hermeneutics from the two phases of history and text, on the basis of generalizing it according to the way of it's so-called "drill out" and "drill in". The method of culture study and hermeneutics in it is unveiled. And a "road in forest" to it's poetic theory is paved out, that is the poetic theory using history as hermeneutic base , text as hermeneutic heart and "three concentric circles" as hermeneutic system. This paper aims at presenting the apocalypse of methodology for us in interpreting complicated modern and postmodern literary and cultural phenomena, and presenting theoretical consults when we construct ourselves poetic systems. The first chapter is "the origin of poetics of culture and hermeneutic". The historical setting and study surroundings of Fredric Jameson's poetics of culture and hermeneutic is traced following two clues of "culture" and "hermeneutics". In the realities of world wide culture turning, western Marxist culture and American literature critics, Jameson has constructed Marxist literary culture theory; according to modern hermeneutics text theory, Mediaeval Christianity classical hermeneutic system and the demand that reality for hermeneutics, Jameson has constructed Marxist text hermeneutics. Thus, Jameson has connected history with text by the means of culture study and hermeneutics. The second chapter is "the path of poetics of culture and hermeneutic ". In the connection of history and text, the path of Jameson's poetics of culture and hermeneutic is generalized. Firstly, Jameson regards history as ultimate context of his poetics of culture and hermeneutic, thinking all literary culture texts can be interpreted better only in the history of totality. But the history itself is not very clear, and as a structured totality it is an "absent" " being". On one hand, it can be neared by us only in the form of "text" as "absent cause", invisible "the real", so the explore for history can be done only by text; on the other hand, history is not text, and in nature it is "non-emersion" and "non-narrative ". It is an experience of inevitability, decided by conflict movement of many kinds of manufacture manners.Secondly, Jameson regards text as the heart of his poetics of culture andhermeneutic, and puts "non-absence" history in the form of "absence" in the form-structure of text, treating text as a narration of social symbolic behavior. As a narration of social symbolic behavior, text not only shades but also reflects history by means of symbol. Shading history discloses its ideology, and as a "strategies of containment", it suppresses people's desire to want to solve the conflict from society history into the depth of unconsciousness; reflecting history discloses its Utopian property, and as a thirsty for "collectivity entia", it is an expectation for human historical inevitability. Thus, literary culture text is ideological but also Utopian. The former exists in text in the form of obvious text, but the latter is a sub-text in the form of "political unconsciousness". The main function of poetics of culture and hermeneutic is to interpret this "sub-text" in order to play the role in political realities. Finally, Jameson connects history with text, and constructs himself culture and hermeneutic system: three concentric circles. (1) Political history context in narrow sense. Text is regarded as a symbolic behavior, not experiencing "interpret", and it is a imaginary solution to real conflicts; (2) The context of society and class. Text, changed dialectically, is interpreted as "ideologeme" of a collectivity or class; (3) History context in the broadest sense. Ideologemes find their place in the list of complicated manufacture manners, and embody history as the ultimate context in the "culture revolution".The third chapter is "the methodological sense of poetics of culture and hermeneutic". In the language surroundings of culture study, Jameson puts history as a...
