The Lonely Spirit World

For 20s years, Wang An_yi' s creative theme,style characteristic and value stand change again and again. The critic world has discovered her rich and varied writing characteristic, but they haven' t gone further into the mental and internal cause of her change. In fact, the chief motive force of her repeated change is that she wants to establish "a spirit world" for herself and others. This article tries to analyse the origin,manifestation nature and significance of this spirit world.The introduction of the article elaborates the necessity of why we should analyse the spirit world and the embodiment of the lonely consciousness. Chapter One looks back on Wang An_yi' s " lonely course" . From the melancholy of youth to the disappointment of society and then after the sad of humanity, Wang An_yi falls into the useless seeking.She tries to break away from the solitary state by the dependence on substance, the help of consciousness and so on, but she hasn' t received the expenctant effect. At last she seems to find the material to build her spirit world form the countyside and the small potato so to get free from the isolitary state.Chapter Two summarizes the "lonely theme" in her works form transverse angle as follows : the loniness from the disappointment of the struggle with oneself, the loniness fromthe misunderstanding in people, the loniness from the confrontation with the castle. Those people struggle and fight repeatedly in the whirlpool of life, but they are always defeated . They are lost in the loniness and have no way to get out.Chapter Three discusses the origin of Wang An_yi' s lonely consciousness and the deep cause of her establishment of the spirit world. Wang An_yi starts form the intention to relax her worry, helplessness,and isolation. Then she wants to look for the spirit homeland to protect the prompted and pressed hearts in reality. However her effort hasn' t have the repay in equal. The spirit world she established seems substantial, but in fact it is somewhat unreal. She cann' t really break away from the isolitary state.The conclusion summarizes and appraises the weakness and significance of the lonely spirit world built by Wang An_yi briefly.
