The mankind already have the sober cognition about the importance of the ability of emotion regulation, but how to operate emotion regulation concretely is still the important research lesson of the workers of the pedagogy and psychology. There is some about the research of approach of education of the ability of emotion regulation of junior high school students, but all this exists deficiency as follows: (1)the cognition deficiency of the concept of emotion regulation; (2) the awaiting betterment of the research means of emotion regulation; (3)the relative straitness of the research object of emotion regulation; (4) the deficiency of intervention research of emotion regulation, etc. Therefore, the approach and means of education of the ability of emotion regulation of the junior high school have the necessary further research.Recent years, as an old proposition, the educational circles more and more thinks much of self-education, and self-education becomes an outstanding characteristics of the education reform. At the beginning of 2000, Ministry of Education promulgated the Course Plan of the Common Senior High School of the Fulltime System which brought the research-oriented study, as animportance content of the activity lesson of synthesis practice, into a new ampliative experimental course plan, unfolding the self-education of emotion of high school students in manner of research-oriented study will educate the ability of emotion regulation of junior high school students, which have the important influence toward lifetime development and career success of junior high school students.Aiming at the lack of the approach of education of the ability of emotion regulation of junior high school students, using for reference of the reasonable composition of emotion regulation self-education, combining the unsteady actuality of emotion development of junior high school students, adopting the manner of the research-oriented study toward the ability of emotion regulate of junior high school students have proceeded to the education experiment, which will overcome the deficiency and limitation of the current research-oriented study only paying attention to the person and nature, person and society, and adds the contents of the person and self. Adopting the design of experiment group-control group former and back measure, proceeding the experiment of education of the ability of emotion regulation toward 117 junior high school grade one students, 122 junior high school grade two students,IV121 junior high schools third grade students, this research aims at the feasibility and validity of unfolding the self-education of emotion in manner of research-oriented in the aspect of the education of the ability of emotion regulation of the junior high school students. Passing by the experiment of 16 weeks, I adopted the Measurement of Eysenk's Emotion Stability of having the irrelevant with education content to proceed to evaluation. The result shows as follows: unfolding the self- education of emotion of high school students in manner of research-oriented study can enhance the ability of emotion regulation of junior high school students, in other words, unfolding the self-education of emotion of high school students in manner of research-oriented study is feasible and valid to educate the ability of emotion regulation of junior high school students.
