Wang Guowei and Lu Xun, known for their strong tension of their life journey, have portrayed two typical intellectual figures in Chinese literary history of modern times. As two typical life model that arrives the similar end through different roads, the have influenced and provided the intellectuals of later ages on moral quality and behavior. Also due to their profound thoughts, they build up the main frame of the thought and poetry study. Thus they have been the valuable reference for people to study Chinese traditional thought and learning and important resource for Chinese thought and poetry study to get motivation to develop. Study on the cases of their thought and life typicality can get wide comment. Juxtaposition of the two scholars can illustrate their similarities and differences. So we can get a better understanding of the thread line of Chinese thought and poetry study.The article, focusing on the thought orbit especially in the field of literature, emphasizing the inter-link between the changes of their thought, explaining the life choice of thought subject and taking the learning and thought idea of World Consciousness and World View as breakthrough points, depicts their social and moral bear and transcendality of their thought version. Contrasting their literary thoughts of organon and ontology with each other, the article explains the central role played by "tragedy" in their thought structure and homorganic and interdynamic relations between their best but last aesthetic "tragedy" and life "tragedy". In summary, this article tries to make a juxtapositional study through some strategic points, aims to dig out some potential proposition hidden under some individual study and also attempts to set a fix coordinate and direction for the study of modern thought and poetry.
