This article intends to compare the tragic view of Wang Guowei and Thomé H.Fang and its core spirit.The thesis analyzes and compares the reasons for the formation of their tragic views.and their views on the nature,aesthetic feeling,plots,and characters of the tragedy,and explores the similarities and differences between their tragic views and their core spirits.The introduction part mainly summarizes the research status of tragedy views between Wang Guowei and ThoméH.Fang,and puts forward the purpose and significance of the comparative study,as well as studies the important and difficult point in this paper.The first chapter mainly compares the causes of their tragic views,and to discuss the different influences of their living environment and personal experience on their own tragedy views,as well as the different influences of Schopenhauer and Nietzsche on their tragedy views.The second chapter analyzes and compares their main viewpoints on the nature,aesthetic feeling,plots,and character of the tragedy,and explores their similarities and differences.Wang Guowei believes that the essence of tragedy is "the desire of life",ThoméH.Fang attaches importance to the tragic essence of " do as one pleases";Wang Guowei is inclined to the tragic beauty of grandeur,ThoméH.Fang refined the tragic aesthetic sense of "fantasy beauty" and "pure beauty";Wang Guowei believes that the tragic plot should focus on the moral guidance of "general personnel situation",while ThoméH.Fang thinks that the plot is to highlight the character of the tragic hero;Wang Guowei believes that tragic characters should seek liberation after observing the truth of the universe,with a character of caution,perseverance and independence,while Thomé H.Fang advocates the character of tragic hero.The third chapter discusses the similarities and differences of the core spirit of their tragic views.Wang Guowei views of tragedy focuses on the core spirit of getting rid of pain and seeking liberation,and ThoméH.Fang views of tragedy focuses on overcoming suffering and seeking transcendence as the core spirit. |
