The similarities and differences of a linguistic phenomenon in a language can be found by comparing the language data representing the different dialect in the study of the history of Chinese language. The similarities is common factor, the differences is dialect factor. By comparing the differences its evolvement track can be brought to because the language differences in region reflects the development series in time."Hongloumeng", "Qiludeng" and "Rulinwaishi" which simultaneously written in mid-eighteen century are considered as the representative works of dialects in Beijing, Central Plains and Southeastern Region. By overall describing the synchronic exchange phenomena of the "giving" words "yu" and "gei", and comparatively studying the latter manifest of cutting across dialects , the paper discovers and exposes the fact that the synchronic replacing of these two words presented wavy advance from Beijing across Central Plains to the South. By comparing the differences and similarities the verbs in front of "yu" and "gei" in different dialects , the author described and proved the different and similar manifestations in these 3 dialects when "v+yu" and "v+gei" synchronically replaced and other different dialect vocabularies during the process. The paper practiced and proved the scientific method which is called "the comparison of different dialect which is simultaneously " which is of practicability and universality. The conclusion will be more reliable than before if it can be proved by other dialect data. The method also can be used by other related linguistic phenomena such as the substitution of the word in common use, the certification of edition, the comparison of dialect vocabulary, the comparison of dialect grammar, the comparison of dialect phonetics and theoretic linguistics. Etc.
