In this paper, on the basis of previous studies, using analysis method of cultural factors as well as the double evidences method, which fully absorb the latest archaeological material, give an comprehensive research of the phase of " Houyi replace of Xia dynasty" and substance expression. The whole thesis is divided into five section including the introduction, the happen of "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty" and it's archaeological age, the archaeological analysis of "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty", the research of relevant problems and the concluding remarks.According to the literature's record, we can draw an conclusion that "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty" is a significant incident which truly occurred in the early age of Xia dynasty. On the basis of the literature's record combining the archaeological data, we conjecture the tribe of Houyi was one of the East Yi nationalities. This tribe was resided in the most area of Shandong province, and the archaeological culture it created was the Shandong Longshan culture. Through analyses the cultural factors of Xinzhai period remains, the first and second period of Erlitou culture by quota, we can understand when in the Sinzhai period, many Shandong Longshan cultural factors were appeared. In the first period of Erlitou culture, the proportion of Shandong Longshan cultural factors continually increased. Meanwhile the Gu, Jue, He, Gui which came from the Eastyi culture were increased generous and gradually took form a norm. In the second period of Erlitou culture, Yueshi culture took place of Shandong Longshan culture. Although the potteries as Gu, Jia, He and Gui which were continually used in this period, the direct factors came from Shandong Longshan culture were disappeared. The result of analysis by quota manifests that the Shandong Longshan culture factores exist maximum in the first period of Erlitou culture and "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty" happened in the first period of Erlitou culture.It can be seen that there had beneficial conflict between Huaxia nationality and Dongyi nationality continuously. This was a premise of the "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty". The wallowing in luxury and pleasure of Taikang directly caused the decline of Xia dynasty. Archaeological data indicate from Yu to Qi period, the strategic core of Xia nationality was in south and west area. The weak control of east area created a chance to rise of Houyi tribe. "Houyi replace of Xia dynasty" made the regime of Xia dynasty to be lost to other nationality 40 years. Therefore the first period of Erlitou culture was stagnate in east area. After Shaokang recover the country, east area had begun the focus point of Xia dynasty. The scope of Xia culture in east area was extended to Qixian of the east of Henan province. The destruction of Houyi and Hanzhuo group made Shandong Longshan culture declined quickly and make other nationality entered the territory of East Yi. They absorbed part of Shandong Longshan culture's factors and created Yueshi culture.
