The historical and cultural heritage is a non renewable resource, which is an important part of the historical and cultural heritage of our country. It is widely distributed and the value of the unearthed cultural relics is high. China is not only a lot of emperor mausoleum, nobles and celebrity graves, as well as a large number of civilians tombs, a large number of precious cultural relics unearthed in the tombs of the civilians have higher value in various aspects, these tombs and funerary objects of historical information can deeply reflect the ancient social material and spiritual culture of the world. In the face of the ongoing market economy process of the city, expanding the city regional development, on the one hand, provides ample space for city residents living and production, on the other hand, the construction of city relics relics may be buried in the ground for destruction. How to protect the cultural heritage in the process of urban development is a question which is worth paying attention to.According to the city in the process of burial remains remains the difficulties faced by the Shanxi provincial cultural relics protection units, Mao'er Ridge tombs as the main research object, through combing the historical geography of Yuci city development and reform related content, to find out the relationship and the development process of Mao'er Ridge tombs in Yuci city.
