Research On The Former Editing Experience Of Mao Dun

Mao Dun,who was a pioneer and a founder of Modern Literature ,went into the tide of New Vernacular Literature when he was a young editor of Magazine for Student in the Commercial Press.He had edited 15 magazines before 10,1949.He did great for the modern editing because his outstanding editing job served for people and the advanced cause of culture.The paper studies the editing-experiences of Mao Dun in the period from 1917 when he help editing Magazine for Student to 10,1949 when The People's Republic Of China founded by the means of historical analyses ,case illustrations and contrastive differences,in order to provide certain referential knowledge for the present periodicals publishing house .What I do based on a all-around retrospect to the editing-experience of Mao Dun and in this paper I will state his mature ideas of periodicals-editing job.There are four parts.The first introduces Mao Dun's experience which are related to periodicals editing job.The second introduces Mao Dun's great periodicals editing experience and his achievement,in which part the experience of six magazines are very important.The third introduces Mao Dun's ideas of periodicals editing job:(1)Writing by editor is a good means for editing job.(2)Editing periodical must lead the advanced culture. (3) Periodicals must have powerful authors at first.The fourth states the regular pattern of periodicals editing job :(1)What's the chief editor,what's the magazine.(2) Periodical's editing is constructing job for society culture and a advanced editor will construct advanced society culture.In this part the author provide referential knowledge to present editors.
