This thesis consists of three parts, they are the theory of truth in context, the theory of implicit knowledge and the theory of meaning's construction. Each of them explains the theory of meaning of Michael Dummett's, who is a contemporary linguistic philosopher of English. The theory of truth in context concerns the opinion that Dummett puts truth in a certain context to understand. And gives an explicit explanation of truth from syntax, pragmatics, semantics respectively, makes it clear that truth, has a general, historic, revisal and contractile character in a new horizons and 0.this will play a foundational role in understanding his theory of meaning's construction."Implicit Knowledge" is an important concept in Dummett's theory of meaning. It illustrates the cognitive relationship between speaker and the theory of meaning, and reflects the principal ideas and general characters of Dummett's theory of meaning. Thus, implicit knowledge can be generalized as explanatory concept of meaning, which is important for us to understand Dummett's theory of meaning thoroughly. In Dummett's opinion, the detail explanation of speaker's linguistic ability is very important to define the theory of meaning from the pragmatics practice. For this end, he comes up with the idea of meaning's construction. We can see, there is certain intention includes in the analysis of meaning's construction, and it embodies the subjective role and rational basis. This will valuable for us to understand the essence of Dummett's theory of meaning and the general view of modern antirealism.
