During new cultural movement period, Hushi was universally known as the founder of the Chinese free verse due to his advocation of "Revolution in the kingdom" .The process was made up by rational spirit of western literature as well as Chinese traditional literature, which Meanwhile, Hu shi grasped the essence of "Revolution in the Kingdom", that is to say, linguistic reform. And his linguistic experienced gradually a logic development. The thesis of this essay analyses the logic development of mainstream linguistic to daily linguistic; the integrating content with form, and written vernaculas Chinese to free verse. The great success of Hu shi's "Revolution in the kingdom" lies in his pursuing the modernization of free verse, and resulted combination of modernization with concepts, new verse form and the populace consciousness. Finally, the essay tries to give a completely new interpretation of "new idea and new spirit" hidden in his works, Furthermore, the essay aims to giving a compeletly new interpretation of "new form" by a certain degree of surpass between the tradition and the modernization. The essay has an insight into Hu shi's individualism of "Revolution in the kingdom" with new concept, Hu shi opened up a new epoch of Chinese free verse for both "Revolution in the kingdom" and "new cultural movemen".
