The Study On The Function Words Of Yi Jing

ZhouYi (《周易》) , including Yi Jing (《易经》) and Yi Zhuan (《易 传》) ,an ancient classical work, has made an extensive impact on China in the aspects of history of the culture and ideology. Because it embodies abundant content of culture, the successive scholars have spared no efforts on it in spite of its being a work of divination. But it seem that people pay little attention to the part of Yi Jing (《易经》). which is valuable ancient language data. The paper and work about its language is rarity of rarities. This article consists of two parts, and tries to study Yi Jing (《易经》) from the aspect of ancient function word.Part1: firstly, the structure of Yi Jing (《易经》) is introduced. It is applied to divination, so its structure is particular. As long as we understand its structure, we can study its language better. In one word, it is composed of the symbol system and the letter systemSecondly, the article is emphasized on the function word system of Yi Jing C (《易经》). By researching every function word, we classify the function words into seven types from the aspect of grammar. It is classified into pronoun, adverb, preposition, conjunction, zhu ci (助词) , mood word, and interjection. Every type of the function word, if it having the successive type, it will be classified into the successive type. We will interpret every type of the function word from the aspect of Xun Gu (训诂) or the grammar.Part2: trying to discuss the function words of Yi Jing (《易经》) in order to proof its written time. Firstly, this article discusses some function wordsthat reflect the characters of ancient Chinese function words or have special usages. Comparing with the usages of other ancient documents, these function words have many differences, and by comparing these differences , we can find some language characters of Yi Jing(《易经》), at the same time, they can proof its written time. Secondly, by comparing the systems of pronoun, mood words and interjection of Yi Jing (《易经》), which different from Jia Gu Wen ( 甲骨文) , Jin Wen (金文) and other ancient documents, we can also proof its written time.
