Study On Dai Biao-yuan

Dai Biao-yuan is regard as the great master of poetry and prose in the initial stage of the yuan dynasty. He had reasonable ideology and he criticized the Buddie and the Taoism and the idea of immortal. Furthermore, he inherited the Confucian school that participate in the society actively .His discussion on classic poets and poetry "synthesize the various schools and attached importance to the Tang Dynasty rather than despising the Song Dynasty ", deepen the idea of "the poor the better" ,put forward the theory of "the older the better " and advocate the common practice of the insipid and nature poetry .The poetry of Dai Biao-yuan portrayed the ruthless reaiity deeply in the last stage of Song Dynasty and the initial stage of Yuan Dynasty and his living state. There are many poetry describing the scenery with hills, waters and rural area .which displayed that the author loved the life of the rural area and the scenery of the country ardently . The ways of the sentences in the poetry of Qiyan were flexible and varied and the flavour of the poetry was strong . The prose of Dai Biao-yuan manifested the outstanding horizons and brilliant exposition. He was good at depicting the image of the character and his style of writing was lively .His various essays was combined verse with prose and was full of the force .
