In the face of student of vocational high school score generally getting low(especially English) and quality bad problem, on how launch teaching reform according to student's actual conditions, carrying out and influencing teaching greatly, having put forward level-teaching method ,its marrow is to " teach students in accordance with their aptitude ",aim at breaking the traditional teaching method and adapting to each student's development in a more flexible way .Through to control class student (traditional teaching ) and experiment class student contrast research of English study, has probed the influence that level-teaching method grows the learning process of students of vocational school . Among the research , adopt three questionnaire and three English paper mainly, carried on questionnaire investigation and tested in controlling class students and experiment class students at three different stages, the income data are counted and dealt with SPSS10.0.The result shows:l.As regards improvement of the score , it is superior to traditional teaching;2.Compared to traditional teaching, level-teaching method has remarkable positive impact to learning process (learning will , learning tactics , achievement motivation , sense of responsibility , needing competence , learning method , learning enthusiasm etc.); 3. Compared to traditional teaching, it makes the disparity between levels, every lever in the same class is developed to some extent.This thesis has been discussed, analysed about the result of research, and has put forward the suggestions of level-teaching: 1.Change the traditional education idea and teaching method, permeate affective education , design teaching meticulously, pay attention tostudents' positive participation and feedback of teaching information. 2.Change the concept, set up new student's evaluation criterion. 3.Conbined level-teaching method with" the credit system " together, it will arouse the enthusiasm of student's study.4. Conbined level-teaching method with " flexibly study system " together, take elective course, it will increase the elasticity of education. 5.Set up new teacher's evaluation criterion and form the incentive mechanism.
