The Modernity Anxiety And Narrative In A Period Of Transition

The upsurge of officialdom novels that has formed at joint of centuries has become an important literature phenomenon. But the comment circles have expressed certain indifference, even if in the critical circles, belittling is more than praising. According to this reality, this paper attempts to reveal the meaning and value of officialdom novels ,and tries to make more objective and fair appraisement for this phenomenon. In the aspect of research technique, this paper studies this phenomenon from the macroscopic and external angle to inquire its prosperity and declination, then it analyses some important writers and works in detail from the microscopic and internal angle in terms of female narration and counter-satiric narration. The paper's opinion is that the officialdom novels have exposed the game rules, corruption, moral decline in officialdom etc. it finishes the introspection and criticism to the system of human cultural society, and has revealed the hard survival condition especially to the intellectuals. It is participated in the modern writing and expression in modernization with market economy as the center, and have reflected writers' worries and the solicitude of the social reality in the transitional period, and it has become an important means for us to understand the past and the current, it also shows the meaning and the value of this literature phenomenon and this paper.
