This is significant for intensity and stability of furniture.To offer solutions such that the structure of traditional Chinese furniture can Be redesigned based on traditional principle and fit to the present technology and life style. This thesis goes though the development of Chinese furniture through the centuries and gathers information of structure design.In addition, according to the result of research, discovered that Ecological design is a significant way to redesign the structure of traditional Chinese furniture during the process of modernization. And put forward some way to modernize traditional Chinese furniture under this principle, e.g. modularization design and disassemble design. This way can not only inherit tradition, but also fit to the trend of modern furniture.This thesis aims to integrate traditional Chinese furniture into the modern times soon.
