ICT (Information and Communication Technology) is playing an important role in education in the information society. More and more experts from different country and different academic background have focus their attention on the theory of ICT application in education. In the field of Industrial Design Education, we also can see the change of the technology has made in many aspects. But the outcome of the ICT used in education does not proportionate with it's devotion. So it's very important and necessary to build a bridge to shorten the distance between ICT and application.Before Industrial Revolution, prentice training is the main quomodo in the society. And that's proved that industrial design born in practice. With the development of economy, more requirements in society require more industrial designer and more courses to meet the diversity need. School education is a good solution to the problem. From the history of industrial design education, we can see some uniqueness that made the training course different, and that also affect the application of ICT in industrial design. ICT used in industrial design education is a new field combined with new concept and new theory. The theory of Dell's "The Tower of Experience", education communication, technology philosophy constitute its foundation. Student is the core of education, is the consumer of the courseware. In the different stage of development, design and test, we should carry our work from the analysis of student. "Experience education" is named after "experience economy" and "experience design", it takes the experience students will get when studying as the basic principle to explore how to use ICT to make great improvement in education. By the guide of industrial systems analysis, this paper builds a frame for research in industrial design education, students' character and ICT, brings forward methods and principles for courseware design and other software design.
