Till the sixth year of 21 century, China has had the most large-scale industrial design education system all over the world. According to the first step Statistics: Now there is university and college in China that have established the subject of design already up to thousand, the number of solicit students has up to 100,000 annually, have the master degree give to power contain more than 230, industry designing subject is the most popular of all types of subjects in Chinese university and college.This is good aspect to current industrial design education of China, but on the other hand, industrial design education owns the such huge scale, but manufacturing is seriously lacks "talented person of industrial design " in China, why would appear like this a self-contradict circumstance?! We have to analyze our industrial design education for the origins of this problem.The topic of my paper is" The analysis and comment to Chinese industrial design education of the present age ". The full text concludes the history, current state and future trend of Chinese industry design education for the frame.Chapter 1 of the paper states the three stages of Chinese industrial design education developed, it includes: Enlighten, rising, grow up.Chapter 2, it discussed the purpose of industrial design education, quoting from the 《 2001 Seoul industry designer declaration 》 , Paper indicates the unreasonable definition to course concept of industrial design over a long period. If we want to developing the more beneficial Atmosphere for industrial design education, at first we must definite The innate character and real purpose of the industrial design course, then can announce to public the real purpose and mission of industrial design education. The right fixed position of the course will to point out the direction for the education.Chapter 3, the analysis of the current state of Chinese industrial design education by the data of teaching plans of 14 universities and colleges. It analyzed the contents and characteristic of the knowledge construction of the current Chinese industrial design education. Join together with this, expatiate actually what is complete meaning of the design;Analyzed to the reason that the scale of design education madly expand in recent years, Engineering college and art college concerning who there is more advantages than the other.Chapter 4, it is the analysis and comment to the current industrial design education of China. Join together with the original purpose and mission of industrial design education, I concluded the knowledgeconstruction and contents characteristic of the Chinese industrial design education according to data of the 14 colleges and universities, and criticized the opinions of "shaping is sole importance *-. * think highly of the ability of computer or software rather than ideas", "turn the foreign empirical to dogma".Chapter 5, the main contents expatiating the development trend of Chinese industrial design education in the future, and it changes the standard who is the excellent industrial designer under the knowledge-based economy ages.
