Research On Li Zhi-yi's Works

As a member of Su school of Ci poets, Li Zhi-yi's character and works were well received by people at that time.But we can't see overall and systematic study in academic circles on Li Zhi-yi though he is versatility in poems,Ci poems, preface and postscript works.This paper will make a systemic study on the thought content and artistic characteristics of Li Zhi-yi's works, regarding developing trend of middle and later periods in literature of Northern Song Dynasty as the background , taking the social cultural ideological trend at that time into consideration and combining life experience and individual character of the author himself. The focal point is to seek author's style and features of works in term of probing into his thought and emotion. The thesis is divided into three parts. First part regards Li Zhi-yi's poems as research object and points out the poems' content is very wide.The poems not only incorporated personal unique sense of life experience,but also reflected the court official's subject consciousness of Song Dynasty, demonstrating clear and gentle , peaceful and spacious style and features. Second part regards Li Zhi-yi's Ci poems as the research object, lay particular emphasis on the overall discussion of its artistic style and features . Li Zhi-yi emphasize independent status of Ci poems and praise highly Ci poems' gentle and sweet body and implicit, deep and latent, remote and beautiful speciality.Li Zhi-yi combined bold and vast will and spirit of Su Shi with graceful style of Songs among the flowers together,and he could make them supplement each other.All these are reflected concretely on orientation of the subject matter , the artistic style and features , artistic technique,too.The third part regards Li Zhi-yi's prefaces and postscripts as the research object and thinks them are full of beauty of sincere emotion, reflect author's sharp academic eyesight free from philistinism, demonstrate the artistry with flexible freedom, too. At last ,on the basis of describing above, this paper analysis the influence among Li Zhi-yi's poems ,Ci poems, prefaces and postscripts.The paper think Li Zhi-yi's prefaces and postscripts reflect his create maintaining and aesthetic ideal clearly, such these has also influence his creation practice ——the auther not only can distinguish poems from Ci poems, but also make them permeate each other, demonstrating individual character in style and features.
