The main content of this paper are described as follows:The introduction part mainly outlines Lu You’s prose creations and the current research status of them.The first chapter mainly introduces the general development of the preface and postscript. One is the origin,development, classification and the function of literature.The other one is the development and evolution of the preface and postscript in southern song dynasty.The second chapter mainly introduces the basic situation of Lu You’s preface and postscript creation.First,this part briefly introduces the creation of Lu you’s prose, as well as an overview of the preface and postscript creation, and then focuses on the main content of his preface and postscript creation, mainly in the aspects such as“Painting and calligraphy”, ” Memories of the people”, “ theories of YI JING and Buddhism and Taoism”.In the third chapter, the ideological value and artistic value of his preface and postscript are discussed in detail.
