| Mental crisis means a state of temporary psychological unbalance taking place after a precipitating event. With the intensifying of social competition, there is evidence that people's 'mental load' has aggravated constantly and mental crisis increased gradually. As to university students, it also cannot be ignored. Murdering, suicide, violence frequently committed by university students are all evidences of mental crisis of them.Based on the study of related documents, this paper made a demonstration study on the headsprings and frangibility of university students, as well as factors affecting their frangibility. The testees of the survey were randomly selected from Hohai University, Nanjing Normal University and Nanjing Finance and Economics University, and the testing papers are ASLEC, ER' 89, SSRS and questionnaires of crisis frangibility and crisis coping method.The result of the survey shows that stress from school work and interpersonal relations are the most important headsprings of university students' mental crisis. As far as frangibility is concerned, 36.6% of them are like to lose their balance in face of crisis events, and 10.2%of them may be very frail. And there is a negative correlativity between frangibility and ego resilience, crisis coping method, and social support.At the same time, this paper also raised some contraposing strategies on the ground of the statistics. |
