Liu Xie's theory "The ontology of pattern is the Tao"("文原于é“")has always been the central issue in the research of Long Xue("é¾™å¦") in China. Scholars of the field also hold the idea of "hanman"("汗漫") abou"tthe pattern of the Tao (""é“之文")put forward by Lu Xun. This thesis begins with the rethinking of the saying "hanman"( "汗漫"), finding that the chaos of the interpreting Liu Xie's theory is due to the mixing understanding of the "Tao" in"the pattern of the Tao "from "Its Ontology in the Tao"(《原é“》)with the "Way " in "The Classics are the perfection of the Way ,permanent and enduring "("ç»,æ’久之至é“")from " Revering the Classics" .(《宗ç»ã€‹) On the basis of the analysis of the meaning of "ontology"("原") and "origin(""æº") in The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragon(s《文心雕龙》) written by Liu Xie ,and "Tao(""é“")and "pattern"("æ–‡")and "te(""å¾·") in "Its Ontology in the Tao", (《原é“》) the thesis discusses the difference between the "Tao" in "the pattern of the Tao" ("é“之文")and the "Way" in "The Classics are the perfection of the Way ,permanent and enduring" ("ç»,æ’久之至é“"). The "Tao", as the ultimate base of all things , or , in another word , the Ontology , is the premise of "Classics " in the ontology sense, and the "Classics " deriving from the mode "Tao-Sages-Pattern"("é“—圣—文") actually is the presenting form of "Tao". This thesis explains the origin of Liu Xie's understanding of "the pattern of the Tao" ("é“之文")from two aspects: Liu Xie's theory "The ontology of pattern is the Tao" ("文原于é“") has its roots in the background of the mixture of the Confucian school and the Taoist school .On the condition of the crises of the study of Confucian classics and social crisis in the late of Dong Han Dynasty, intellectuals in the Period of Wei and Jin interpreted personality of Confucius and Confucianism dynamically in the sense of Xuan Xue. Liu Xie rethinking "the pattern of the Tao" ("é“之文") in his paradigm that regards "Tao" as the ontology and "Classics" as the origin, which contributes to the reputation of The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons.. In the vision of the principle of the Effective-History ("效果历å²åŽŸåˆ™") hold by Gadamer,. Liu Xie's theory"The ontology of pattern is the Tao" ("文原于é“")results from the consciousness of Effective-History. Observed in the cultural tradition of China, the ontology of "Classics " constructed in Liu Xie's theory is the Effective of the past in the present day, and "Tao" as the metaphysical base of "Classics " is the Effective of the present day to the past. In all, Liu Xie's understanding of "the pattern of the Tao" ("é“之文")results from Fusion of Horizons of the present Xuan Xue(玄å¦) and Confucian classics in the past.
