A Study On The Special Sentence Patterns Of Modern Chinese Using Database With Tags Of Word-class

Using database to research language has become one of the most important methods in the linguistic field. Special sentence patterns have become a very important part of the Chinese grammar teaching and research for its particularity. At the present time, nobody has made statistical and analytic researches on syntax form of special sentence patterns, which affects the teaching and research. We confirm the categories of special sentence patterns, class them, then count and analyze the result, at last found a trial retrieval system of special sentence patterns.In this essay, we work out the distributing data of special sentence patterns from several angles. We also analyze co-occurrence relations of special sentence patterns and the verbs of telescopic form. According to the data, we find that special sentence patterns have high frequency in modern Chinese and have become important expressing modes. The proportions of the categories are different. As a whole, the appearancing probabilities of special sentence patterns in written language are higher than those in spoken language.We hope that this research will be a reference to the learning, teaching, teaching material writing and grammar studying of special sentence patterns.
