Noise is such a kind of sound that is loud, unpleasant and unexpected. It does harm to our health and also brings some negative influences on our daily life and work. The young child with vulnerable organs tends to be influenced by noise. Noise poses a serious threat to children's hearing, eyesight, memory and even their health. In kindergartens, there is some noise that always influences children's behaviors seriously. From the perspective of Barker & Wright's theory of ecological psychology, this thesis studies and analyzes, through observing video, children's behaviors in different noisy settings. We expect to find out some relationship between children's behaviors and noise, through analyzing children's behaviors. We find: (1) the change of noise intensity causes the correspondingly change of children's behaviors; (2) the variation of noise intensity causes different types of changes of children's behaviors; (3) the noise which intensity reaches some level influences children's behaviors obviously; (4) in some less noisy setting children show more expected behaviors, but it doesn't mean this kind of noise does not influence children; (5) Individual behaviors are mostly determined by the whole setting around him, and less by his individual factors.Parents, teachers, educators and government officials should recognize noise as a serious hazard with deleterious effects to children. Kindergartens should be located far away from noise. Kindergarten teachers should put children into circumstances with noise as few as possible. For parents, they should reduce noise at home and pay attention to children's development. Regular physical examination is necessary. For educators, they should keep their studies authentic and accurate through deliberate selection. We expect we can arouse people's attention to noise and its influences on children through this study. To build a good environment for children's development, it's our mission.
