Noise exists everywhere in human’s life and work. People make noises, and noises influence people meantime. The researches of noise in environmental psychology mainly try to discover the influence of noise on people, from seeking its influence on auditory at the very beginning to seeking its influence on the non-auditory physiology. At last, the noise researches developed to seek its influence on advanced mental performance like humans cognitive activities and so on.This study revised 505 Weistein noise sensitive scale and examine its reliability and validity by questionnaire survey, and explored the influence of two types of noise sensitive and three kinds of noise on 60 subjects’working memory performance and noise annoyance by experimental method. The two types of noise sensitive include high and low noise sensitive, and the three kinds of noise include noiseless, traffic noise and speech noise. The main results are as follows:1, The Cronbach coefficient of revised Weistein noise sensitive scale was 0.866, the split-half reliability was 0.871, the test-retest reliability was 0.743, p<0.01, and the congruent validity was 0.499, p<0.0\.2, Noise sensitive has positive correlation with neuroticism,r=0.267,p<0.01, and negative correlation with conscientiousness, r=--0190, p<0.05.3, The interaction effect of noise sensitive and noise types influence the accuracy of working memory, F=71.508, p<0.01. Under the condition of noiseless, the accuracy has no difference between different sensetive subjects. Under the condition of traffic noise and speech noise, the accuracy of high noise sensitive subjects is lower than low noise sensitive subjects. The accuracy of high and low noise sensitive subjects in speech noise is lower than that in traffic noise.4, The main effect of noise sensitive and noise types influence the reaction time of working memory, F value was 4.784 and 6.154 respectively, p<0.05. Subjects’reaction time has no difference on noiseless and traffic noise conditions,and reaction time is shorter on speech noise condition. High noise sensitive subjects’reaction time is shorter than low noise sensitive subjects.5, The interaction effect of noise sensitive and noise types influence noise annoyance, F=9.943, p<0.01. Under the condition of traffic noise and speech noise, noise annoyance of high noise sensitive subjects is higher than low noise sensitive subjects. Noise annoyance of both noise sensitives on speech noise condition is higher than that on traffic noise condition. There are significant differences between high and low noise sensitives subjects chose by Weistein noise sensitive scale that has good reliability and validity in working memory performance and noise annoyance, which can be a conclusion of this study.
