A Survey Of Studies On Zuo Zhuan In Tang Dynasty

Academic circles have studied the research topic about studies on Zuo zhuan inTang Dynasty, but scholars only briefly gave a outline or only involved an aspect in it.In their papers, they didn't regard Zuo zhuan as a core to discuss detailedly. On thebasis of researches of previous scholars, this paper values to introduce new materialsand attempts to show all-sidedly studies on Zuo zhuan in Tang Dynasty by means ofdetailedly dicussing the study, exercise to Zuo zhuan of the people in Tang Dynasty anddiscussing the position, dissemination of Zuo zhuan. This paper is divided into three parts: preface, body and conclusion. The preface firstly introduces some problems about Zuo zhuan and developmentof studies on Zuo zhuan before Tang Dynasty; then briefly treats of the present situationof research, the extant documents and boundary of time of studies on Zuo zhuan inTang Dynasty. In the body part ,we divide Tang Dynasty into two stages---- earlier and later todiscuss studies on Zuo zhuan in Tang Dynasty regarding "the rebellion of AnShi" asthe line of demarcation. The first chapter: Studies on Zuo zhuan at earlier stage in Tang Dynasty This chapter firstly shows situations of society at earlier in Tang Dynasty, thentreats of emphatically the styles, principles and thoughts of monograph about studies onZuo zhuan -----Chun qiu zuo zhuan zheng yi. After that discusses the position of Zuozhuan was very revered and the single aspect of studies on Zuo zhuan. At last ,thispaper discusses the spread to research field of studies on Zuo zhuan of Shi tong writtenby Liuzhiji, but because it is a private work, it hadn't form a trend that has enoughstrength to change the single aspect of studies on Zuo zhuan at earlier stage in TangDynasty. The single aspect was broken until appearance of studies on "new Chun qiu"after "the rebellion of AnShi". The second chapter: Studies on Zuo zhuan at later stage in Tang Dynasty This chapter firstly shows situations of society at later in Tang Dynasty, thendiscusses the research way and the political thought of studies on "new Chun qiu " andtreats of emphatically it's manner to belittle Zuo zhuan and reasons. After that showsthe effect of studies on "new Chun qiu" to studies on Zuo zhuan at later in TangDynasty,it helped to bring about a diversify situation of studies on Zuo zhuan at laterin Tang Dynasty. At last, this paper discusses researches to Zuo zhuan of Liuke,Chenyue and Pirixiu.Their theories showed their own characteristics and added newcolours for complicated studies on Zuo zhuan in Tang Dynasty. The conclusion sums up the main idea of this thesis. Then teases all-sidedly theveining of studies on Zuo zhuan in Tang Dynasty and points out it's important positionin all history of studies on Zuo zhuan.
