On Chen Liang:the "Madman" And His Ci

The article mainly discussed Chen Liang's Longchuan Ci and his innovated statement about Ci. In order to grasp his own character, his individuality as "a madman" is also discussed. The second part "Chen Liang's statement about Ci: the academic manifestos of the genre of Xin Qiji" involves the domain which the predecessor has not involved. The author discovered Chen had the extremely penetrating opinion about Ci: first, Chinese Ct is exceed Chinese Poetry; second, he wanted to make himself famous in the history by "the Jinpai Ci" he put forward; third, Ci should express ones emotions of "economy", which includes the hatred of ones country's enemy, the ambition of motherland unification and the sentiment of ones life; fourth, the style of Ci should like "the thick block or the big beef" that can give readers courage and strength. The third chapter is about Chen's Longchuan Ci, it ' emphatically analyzes the artistic feature of his "Jinpai Ci" and the content of his "Economical Ci". His "Jinpai Ci" has three features: 1st, using dialect and slang and proverb in order to make Ci understood and welcome by more people, and also add his Ci conventional literature color; 2nd, he pointed out more attentions should be given to the citation from ancient books and poetry, this technique has expanded the terminology scope of Chinese Ci and increased its cultural connotation; 3rd, the rhythm of Chinese Ci must obey the general rhythm rule of the Song Ci so as to sing. The biggest charactcrislic of his Ci's meaning is: usin;: Chinese Ci to express "economy" emotions while others were using Chinese Poetry. Its Economical Ci may divide into two parts: one reveal his political comments and patriotism which is the best in his writing; the other express his sentiment of life which has never brought anyone's attention, but it enlarge the scope of Chinese Ci and help Ci obtain the same status as Chinese Poetry finally.
